Despite being an advocate for technology, Vincent maintains that in photography his best work is done “before the shutter is released.” He is fascinated with the play between light and surface – “moments when the nature and mood of an object is transformed.”

The son of a diplomat and accomplished amateur photographer, Vincent’s interest in photography was fostered at an early age. As a teenager in Brazil he first became interested in the play of light – “it’s incredible there.”

Vincent is candid about his passion for photography; he is equally inspired by the challenges of portraiture, landscape and still life – all he finds compelling. However, he discovered a true passion for photographing men in 2005 when he founded MASCULAR Studio, and has since worked with over 200 models from around the world.

In 2012, he founded MASCULAR Magazine, a quarterly e-zine dedicated to masculine art and the men who create it. He has been published in numerous anthologies, and has self published 4 books as well.
