Bastiaan Mol (1954) is a Dutch artist/illustrator from Rotterdam.
While the subjects in his work are diverse, from birds, the golden age of Hollywood to music-inspired portraiture such as the Portuguese FADO, the bulk of his work consists of the male figure. His models pose live, but he is also inspired by pre-existing photos, which he changes and places in different backgrounds and situations.
Over the years, he has acquired his own recognizable style and signature. His work sold to many parts of this world. |
